1. Visit 1st Willoughby Scouts.
The first step is to visit the 1st Willoughby Scout Hall and let your child experience an evening with Scouts. Contact the membership co-ordinator to check that the group you plan to visit will be at the hall, and what they will be doing that evening.
5-8 years old (Joeys), come along at 6PM on a Wednesday evening during the school term.
8-11 years old (Cubs), come along at 6:30PM on a Tuesday evening during the school term.
11-14 years old (Scouts), come along at 7PM on a Thursday evening during the school term.
Have a chat to the Scout Leader, and your child will be introduced to the group. They can then spend up to two hours doing activities with their peers.
2. Become a member of Scouts Australia
The process of signing up for a Scout Membership is the same for each group.
Head over to the NSW Scouts web site and fill in the online application form. Make sure you select 1st Willoughby Scouts. Our membership team will be notified, and you will be added to the 1st Willoughby Scouts group.
