Scouts (ages 11 to 14 years) meet on Thursdays 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Scouts is the third section of Scouting, for boys and girls aged 11-14 years. It gives young people the opportunity to take part in a range of activities that teach important life skills – while having fun and keeping active!
Scouts focuses on allowing young people to develop their confidence and teaches them how to work as part of a team. Scouts learn essential outdoor safety skills as well as participate in a variety of physical and intellectual challenges. The programs are designed to target each young person’s own special interests, encouraging them to enjoy their favourite hobbies using meaningful badges and awards.
Epic bushwalks and camping expeditions, getting out on the water in a kayak, canoe or sailboat or even going up in a plane on a visit to the Air Activity Centre are just some of the adventures Scouts get up to!
Programs
Scout Leaders meet to decide a program of activities each term. Scout activities take place at the Scout Hall, out in the community, and on regular camps. Below is a list of typical activities scouts may undertake.

| Water Safety | Scouts learn techniques for keeping themselves and other safe in the water |
| Construction | Tying knots and build bridges using ropes and poles are core Scouting skills |
| Fire Safety | Understanding fire and fire safety in particularly important in Australia |
| Team Building | Scouts learn to work as a team, and to become leaders |
| Camping | Weekend hikes and camps to build skills for bigger events |

| Scout Hike | A large annual camp and hike for all Scout groups in NSW |
| State Rally | A camp packed with activities held every year |
| Sirius Cup | A water-based activity camp held in Sydney each year |
| Scout Jamboree | Held every 3 years for all Scouts in Australia. A HUGE event! |
